Jimmer Fredette's senior year at BYU is over, and BYU basketball fans will definitely miss him. One day after the final game, people are already asking whether the school will retire his jersey (see today's Daily Herald).
Jimmer is so popular with the fans, that I think it is virtually certain that his number will be retired. Two things that could make it even more likely are: (1) Jimmer winning NCAA player of the year, which could easily happen, and (2) the BYU Cougars performing well in the NCAA tournament.
We will have to wait until next year to see if number 32 (Jimmer's jersey) gets retired. But in the meantime we can see the Cougars play next in the Mountain West Conference tournament, March 9 through 12. You can see the MWC schedule here.
BYU's first MWC game is March 10 at 12 pm PT (broadcast on The Mountain). Assuming they win, they will then play March 11 at 6 pm PT (broadcast on CBS College Sports). If they win again, they will play in the championship March 12 at 4 PM PT (broadcast on Versus). *** The MWC website says that all of these times are subject to change, so be sure to check the schedule regularly. ***
