Jimmer Fredette and the BYU Cougars managed an 8-point win (74-66) over Wofford this evening, despite horrible refereeing (about which I have already ranted in two prior posts).
In a well-referreed game, fans hardly notice the refs. Tonight, though, the zebras were center stage, calling obscure fouls on BYU players and ignoring aggressive behavior by Wofford. In an evenly refereed game, I think Jimmer's crew would have won by 30.
