Jimmer Fredette is AP Player of the Year

Today Jimmer Fredette received another post-season honor: AP player of the year. The Associated Press apparently likes him as much as everyone else does. Way to go, Jimmer!

  1. Jimmer Fredette is an exceptional player, and he deserves to be named the AP Player of the Year! He led BYU to an amazing season that ended too soon! I would have loved to see The Cougars play conference rival San Diego State for the national championship! Congratulations to him!

  2. Yeah, it was a real shame that BYU didn't make it further in the tournament. I saw an article somewhere on-line (on a mainstream sports news outlet) suggesting tongue-in-cheek that the NCAA should have a wild-card redemption pick, a la American Idol, so it could bring BYU back into the tournament.
