Jimmer Scores 27 in Exhibition Game at Marriott Center

Last night's "Jimmer's All-Stars" game at the Marriott Center on BYU campus featured the biggest stars among this coming season's NBA rookies. All the big names were there -- Kemba Walker, Kawhi Leonard, Tobias Harris, etc, etc. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Jackson Emery (BYU teammate of Jimmer Fredette) on the floor.

But no star was bigger than Jimmer. As is so often the case with Jimmer Fredette, I thought he was having a mediocre game until I noted he had scored 27 points. Jimmer's team lost 140-126, but it didn't matter. This game was pure exhibition, with plenty of dunks, alley-oops, and crazy plays. And it was a welcome relief from the ongoing NBA lockout.
